Watch messages as they flow: ▲ sent, ▼ received. Expand any payload, filter or sort by topic.
60 days of history
Every message is kept for 60 days, so you can check what your sensors did last week.
MQTT 5 and 3.1.1
QoS 0, 1 and 2, retained messages, last will, persistent sessions and shared subscriptions.
TLS everywhere

Coming from HiveMQ Cloud Serverless?
HiveMQ stopped selling Cloud Serverless on September 30, 2026. Clients can no longer connect after December 31, 2026, and the data is deleted on January 7, 2027. mqtty keeps the same ports and plain topics, so moving is usually a two-line change.
- Sign in with Google and create a credential.
- Change the host to
broker.mqtty.com. - Swap in the new username and password. Ports and topics stay the same.

Questions
Is mqtty really free?
Yes. The free plan gives every account 6 connected devices, 30 messages per minute and 60 days of message history, with no credit card.
What happens above 30 messages per minute?
Extra messages are acknowledged but not delivered, so devices never get stuck retrying. Your dashboard shows how many were dropped.
Does it work with ESP32, Arduino, Home Assistant and Node-RED?
Yes. Any MQTT 3.1, 3.1.1 or 5 client that supports TLS works: PubSubClient, ESP-IDF, Tasmota, ESPHome, Home Assistant, Node-RED, MQTT.js, Paho, MQTTX and mosquitto_pub.
How do I move from HiveMQ Cloud Serverless?
Create a credential, then change the host to broker.mqtty.com and the username and password. Ports 8883 (TLS) and 8884 (WebSocket, path /mqtt) are the same, and your topics stay exactly as they are.
Are my topics private?
Yes. Every account has its own private namespace. Other users cannot see or reach your topics, even if they use the same topic or client names.
How long are messages kept?
Every message is kept for 60 days and then deleted automatically. Retained messages stay until you clear them.
